In light of the 35th anniversary of vsf fahrradmanufaktur, we have introduced a completely new product category with gravel bikes. There was something very special at the start: a limited 1st edition of the current GX-1200 - based on the finest craftsmanship of a German forge for exclusive steel frames. The uncompromisingly high-quality gravel bike debut was developed together with Johanna Jahnke and equipped exclusively with the finest gravel-specific add-on parts in the limited edition.
Matching the Columbus steel frame, the Columbus Futura carbon fork designed for gravel bikes is a visual treat and complements the wide range of mounting options on the exclusive gravel bike: mounts for saddle and frame bags, mudguards and up to 6 bottle cages as well as pannier racks.
Gearing is provided by the "non-plus-ultra" in the gravel segment, the Campagnolo Ekar 1x13. With 13 gears, it offers impressive performance from high speed to the big "lifebuoy". Campagnolo Shamal carbon wheels are fitted to match.
The WCS carbon add-on parts from Ritchey offer lightweight construction and top ergonomics - the Venturemax handlebars with a subtle flare enable comfortable grip positions even on long rides. A carbon seatpost with noticeable flex supports the unrivalled riding comfort of the steel frame.
The hand-built GX-1200 1st Edition is available at a price of € 5,999.90 (RRP). And even if it took a little longer for the bike to hit the road, we can say that it was worth the wait. And that's not just our opinion, but also that of the test editors of several specialist magazines, who have given the GX-1200 top marks.
